Maxforce Fire Ant Bait kills the Queen and the Colony
Maxforce Fire Ant Bait kills the queens and the colony. Fire ant mounds can contain up to 150 queens and be 10-15 feet below ground, drenching the mound may not be sufficient. This patented formula contains a special blend of foods,combined with delayed-action stomach poison, hydramethylnon.
Maxforce Fire Ant Bait is specially formulated to allow time for worker ants that
find the bait to carry it back to other ants before dying. Controls imported and native fire ants and other ants, such as the harvester ants and big headed ants.
Maxforce Fire Ant Bait is labled for use in homes, residential, commercial and other structures, and in the *non-food/feed areas of institutional, warehousing and commercial establishments, such as groceries and supermarkets, hotels and motels, hospitals and nursing homes, schools, laboratories, computer facilities, food storage areas, pet shops and in the inedible product areas of meat or poultry plants.
Non-food areas are areas such as garbage rooms, lavatories, floor drains(to sewers), entries and vestibules, offices, locker rooms, machine rooms, boiler rooms, garages, mop closets, and storage (after canning or bottling).
Maxforce Fire ant bait is a ready to use product for use and around buildings on lawns, and other non-crop areas**(non-crop areas include, but are not limited to: school yards, playgrounds, athletic fields, picnic areas, industrial sites, highway rights of way, traffic islands, amusement parks, utility rights of way, around electrical equipment, office parks, airports and airfields, parking lots, horse tracks, racetracks, golf courses, public parks and grounds, cemeteries and mausoleums, churches and chapels, shopping centers and malls, fair grounds, amphitheaters, and zoos)
DIRECTIONS FOR USE: OUTDOORS
Apply Maxforce Fire Ant Bait when ants are active( typically when soil temperature is greater than 60 degrees F). Repeat applications as needed.
- For best results, broadcast Maxforce Fire Ant Killer Granular Bait in Spring and Fall; spot-treat individual mounds which might appear between broadcast applications.
- Apply Fire Ant Bait around mound.
- Do not apply directly to the mound.
- Do not apply other insecticides(such as sprays, dusts or granulars, etc.) on top of or in close proximity to this product, as it will reduce it's effectiveness.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE: INDOORS
Always avoid contamination of food, food contact surfaces and feed areas. Indoor applications of Maxforce Fire Ant Bait is limited to areas that are inaccessible to children or pets such as cracks, crevices, wall voids, unfinished attics, crawl spaces and behind electrical switch plates within residential and non-residential building or structures; within non-food/ non-feed areas of industrial, institutional an commercial buildings.
- Apply up to 2 tablespoons per placement in areas where insects may hide or live.
- Clean up any loose or excess granules.
- Apply evenly in crawl spaces at a rate of .5 ounces per 100 square feet only if the space is secured or otherwise inaccessible to children and domestic animals.
- Do not apply other insecticides(such as sprays, dusts or granulars, etc.) on top of or in close
proximity to Maxforce Fire Ant Bait, as it will reduce it's effectiveness.
